Anna Paquin (born Winnipeg, born in Wellington,) is an Canadian actress from Canada. Paquin was born in Winnipeg, raised in Wellington and made her stage debut as Flora McGrath when she played the character in The Piano. She won an Academy Award at the age of 11 for Best Supporting Actress. Anna Paquin full name Anna Helene Paquin born July 24 the 24th of July, 1982 Winnipeg Manitoba Canada. Paquin was in the role of Frankie Addams, a character from Carson McCullers' novel The Member of the Wedding in 1997. In Steven Spielberg's Amistad in 1997, she played the queen of Spain in a less prominent role. She played teens in Hurlyburly (1998), She's All That (1998), A Walk on the Moon (1998) as well as Almost Famous (2000). She also portrayed the groupie Polexia Aphrodisa.
