Zoe Saldana is the child of Asalia Saldana and Aridio Nazario. Zoe was born in Passaic (New Jersey) on 19th June 1978. Her father was Dominican and her mother is Puerto Rican. She was raised by her mother in Queens. As she reached the age of 10, she and her parents moved to Dominican Republic. They lived in the Dominican Republic for seven more years. Zoe started to discover a love for performance dance when she lived in Dominican Republic. At the prestigious ECOS Espacio de Danza Dance Academy Zoe took ballet classes as well as other styles of dance. In addition to offering a way to express creatively the energetic and passionate youngster, her dance training would prove to be a key factor for her professional career as an actor. As a teenager, Zoe and her family relocated in her home in the United States where her love for dancing grew and her interest in theater performance became greater. Zoe has not only held her own in big motion picture productions but gained admiration and respect of industry experts like Jerry Bruckheimer and Steven Spielberg and other actors/actresses including Tom Hanks, Bernie Mac, Keira Knightley, Ashton Kutcher, Kirsten Dunst and Orlando Bloom. Her performance was recognized as "Best Leading Performance" for the 2022 BIFA for this performance. Deutch, along with Katie Silberman, will team with each other for the sequel to their romantic comedy, Most Dangerous Game. Deutch was a part of Silberman on Netflix's Set It Up 2018 hit.
